Arboretum
My Arboretum is a collection. A garden, a field of experiments, a mirror of feelings, and a diary of observations, written out with a brush. Plants are silent, restrained, and precise helpers when one needs to touch the heart. My words are oaks and larches, sunlight and long shadows.
Each work carries an imprint of my time and state, an attempt to understand and preserve. These are candid notes, as far as my visual language allows.
Arboretum was conceived as a “cabinet” painting — a small pearl that adorns the modest space of a modern person’s home. A small painting should leave an echo in the viewer’s soul, become a companion, a witness to life, and, with luck, a friend.
The paintings appear unevenly, in the moments when I manage to find silence, balance, and energy. And often they find their new owner right away. Perhaps that is how it should be.
A garden cannot be held onto — it can only be glimpsed for a moment.
